{Sorry we're closed}

Today St. Vincent's hospital, located in Greenwich Village, New York City, closed due to financial struggles.
It opened in 1849 and treated survivors of the Titanic, patients suffering from Cholera, patients afflicted with AIDS and survivors from the September 11th attacks.
It is sad that a hospital that has healed so many over the years, seen the changing face of medicine, is closed now.
