{Silver and cold}

cold out again, as usual

last night i had delicious a delicious puerto rican dish, cooked by my puerto rican neighbor
there was potatoes, carrots, broccoli, sprouts, bananas (i think), pasta and a wonder not-too-spicy sauce

we went to whole foods a couple days ago and i got ingredients to make stuff!
chili from veganyumyum, pumpkin muffins from the post punk kitchen and an icelandic spice cake and icelandic mushroom soup from icecook
being married to an icelander really makes me want to try their native recipes
ones that i am able to, anyways

yesterday we visited the thrift store on post
i found an fendi eyeglasses case
it was perfect because
my sunglasses are fendi
and i just can't seem to find my original eyeglasses case
got some books too: great expectations by charles dickens, jacob's ladder by donald mccaig and slaughterhouse five by kurt vonnegut

last weekend we visited my paternal grandparents in columbus, oh
one reason i like being in kentucky: proximity to relatives
anyways, i took some pictures of my great-grandma and great-aunt, the ones from norway
i think that i look like her a lot
i really do
supposedly i'm the spitting image of my grandma (who is norwegian, but was born is massachesetts)
just a dark version because she has blonde hair and blue eyes
my eyes are a weird orange color and my hair is naturally light brown
