{Adventures}

Yesterday I went back to the cave.
It was perfect- overcast skies, good-smelling air, crisp temperature.
Saw a white-tailed deer, giant millipede, salamander, transparent crayfish, 4 bats and a giant cave wolf spider.
I managed to get up and down the mountain without falling!
Unfortunately I was only able to get one good shot before the battery ran out.

This morning I woke up and had my coffee.
I looked down at my stomach and saw a black spot.
Thinking it was a scab, I tried to pick it off.. and it wouldn't budge.
It was a tick!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was horrified and nauseated.
I had it burned off of me and now it's gone.

{Stormy skies}

When I look at the sky
I think of your eyes
Because they share the same hue
And then I feel closer to you

{Uneasiness}

"But there is a fatality, a feeling so irresistible and inevitable that it has the force of doom, which almost invariably compels human beings to linger around and haunt, ghost-like, the spot where some great and marked event has given the color to their lifetime; and still more irresistibly, the darker the tinge that saddens it." - Nathaniel Hawthorne, The Scarlet Letter
