Pajama Jam

Last night I went to a Pajama Jam themed swing dance!

It was quite fun, with a live band, bar and breakfast food served all night.

Got a chance to practice my Balboa too.

Hi yes, still alive and breathing here.

I had 2 throat surgeries in July and complications from that.. scar tissue, infection, bleeding out and nearly dying, not being able to eat for 3 weeks and pneumonia!

Then busy with nursing job, pharmacy studies, American Red Cross work and subsequently moving to new Naval Hospital, sewing/crocheting and swing dancing!

Well, it's said there ain't no rest for the wicked...

A death in the family, other family drama, school, regular work, volunteer work, health issues.. it's enough to make anybody disappear from the sheer busyness of it all.

{Hello, again}

I do apologize for being so absent; picture-wise and word-wise.

I've been terrible busy starting volunteering at the Red Cross on Camp Pendleton, starting a new CNA job, starting some modelling work, sewing, family stuff, health issues, taking care of my animals, etc., etc.

It's good for me to be super busy though,

because I think too much.

I turned 25 last Thursday!

On Friday I went to a big sale at Frock You in San Diego.

I'm so very glad that I did.. I only spent $99 and got:

- a sapphire blue 1920's frock

- a 2 piece Victorian circus costume

- the top part of another Victorian circus costume

- a teal polka dotted 50's frock

- an aqua wool 50's gown

- a black velvet 50's gown

- a black wool 50's sweater

- a brown wool Dirndl

- a multicolored striped 50's beach dress with a sailor's collar

- a blue 50's wiggle dress

- this Edwardian dress
